Humber Premier League, Division One
Goole United 0 Hessle Sporting Club 5 (att 38)
I'm not sure when Goole United ended their groundshare at near neighbours Goole AFC, but for now at least they're playing at Kent Road Playing Fields.
It's a basic venue, but one that's more in keeping with the requirements of the Humber Premier League. There's a single pitch, and the ground is enclosed by the back gardens of surrounding houses, an industrial estate and a primary school.
The playing surface was good, and suited Hessle Sporting Club who played some impressive football on their way to a comfortable win.
The scoreline was harsh on Goole United. There wasn't much between the sides until Hessle's 40th minute opener. The visitors' second goal was a fantastic strike from distance just three minutes later.
A third goal followed early in the second half and that ended Goole's resistance. The hosts conceded two more, but their defeat could easily have been even more emphatic.
