Anglian Combination, Premier Division
Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers 1 Heacham 0 (att 98)
This was second versus first, but with league places already decided there was nothing much at stake. It showed in a game that was short on goalmouth action.
Both sides played good football though, and it was clear to see why they've been ahead of the rest in the Anglian Combination this season.
Heacham, apparently forced to field an outfield player as a makeshift goalkeeper, were eventually beaten when Dussindale sprung what had been an effective offside trap to score a late goal.
Dussindale and Hellesdon, formed just two years ago by a merger, play home games on an artificial pitch at The Nest, just north of Norwich. It's a new and impressive facility that's part-funded by Norwich City FC and used by the Canaries' women's team.
The main pitch is enclosed, and there's a single row of seats covered by a purpose-built overhang in front of a building that houses, among other things, changing rooms and a cafe area.
The far side, where the dugouts are, is out of bounds to spectators, but there's access around the other three sides of the pitch.
