Nottinghamshire Senior League, Premier Division
Beeston 3 Radcliffe Olympic 0 (att 26)
I'd almost forgotten that back in 2016 I'd seen Beeston at their former ground. At that time their move was imminent, and in the years since they've settled into their new home at Trent Vale Road.
It's the former Plessey sports ground, and has a smart new-looking pavilion close to the main football pitch. The playing area is enclosed by metal barriers on one side and roped off around much of the rest of the perimeter.
Beeston FC have lots of junior and adult teams, and the ground provides plenty of space, and pitches, to accommodate them.
Their first team won promotion last season, and are now safely mid table in the Nottinghamshire Senior League's top division. They easily saw off bottom side Radcliffe Olympic.
The away side are by no means adrift at the foot of the table, and they started the game well. But once Beeston scored the opening goal there only looked like being one winner.
By half time the score was 2-0, and Beeston should have added more than just the single goal in the second period.
