Hutton 0 Bishops Lydeard reserves 0 (att 36)
My second game of the day was at Hutton, just outside the town of Weston-super-Mare. It was a late season fixture with little at stake, although Bishops Lydeard needed three point to maximise their chances of avoiding relegation.
As it turned out, thanks to a result elsewhere, their single point for a goalless draw was enough to ensure third tier county league football for another season.
It was a game that looked likely to finish nil nil well before the end. Hutton twice had goals ruled out for offside, once in each half, although neither decision appeared controversial.
Hutton's Springwood ground is a neat venue. At the entrance is a car park and a clubhouse, with a patio to the front. From there the pitch runs lengthways. It's fully railed off, with a pair of dugouts on the left-hand side.
