The Catforth and District Summer League usually throws up one or two new grounds to visit during the barren weeks of the English close season, and this year is no different.
JD Blackpool South, who play Sunday league during the regular season, are using a grass pitch at Lytham St Annes High School.
The school looks to be undergoing major building work at the moment, which made finding the entrance to the playing field a challenge. It's a large sports ground, with space for several pitches.
As the scoreline suggests it was a one-sided game, although the home side led by just a slender 3-2 at half time. In the second period they ran away with it, and looked like scoring every time they attacked, but credit to Sir Tom Finney for battling right until the end.
