Chipping Sodbury Town 0 Kingswood 1 (att 62)
I was keen to get here this season, particularly in view of Chipping Sodbury's possible relegation from the Gloucestershire County League back to local Bristol football.
This defeat, to a well taken first half goal, makes that relegation look probable rather than possible, with the result leaving them bottom of the table.
Kingswood, not clear of the relegation fight themselves, deserved their win, against a toothless Chipping Sodbury side that rarely looked likely to score.
It wasn't a particularly memorable game, but it was a pleasant afternoon in nice weather at a decent venue, and Chipping Sodbury are a very friendly club. If they are relegated, I hope it's just a temporary setback.
